Buddha’s Cross is edgy and will leave you shaken, not stirred. If you’ve already read Buddha’s Cross and don’t like it, read The Chocolate Party Manifesto. It will double your anger or rid you of it completely. And then there’s the Human Charter to add just a little more blush to your cheeks. Please think hard before reading these words. They are dangerous and may cause headaches and hot flashes. Those with conventional beliefs may find their hair standing on end. Our program is not in high drama, nor is it meant to be flashy, but the kind of social media-speak we engage in is bound to offend both the karens and kens of the old world order as well as the sisses and stans of the new world order.

This manual for the living is fairly mean and meanly fair. We humans are so far along the path of destruction of our planet and our species that nothing less than the brazen truth will do us any good. There is little hesitation in these pages to criticize flawed social and political structures, but we hope you come to agree that the intent of this booklet is goodness and respect for humanity. Art is beautiful when it is positive and enlightening, but it sometimes takes a dark and winding path to get there.

Allow me to pay my respects to the United States of America as the country that appears to be most frequently targeted in these writings, for it is the only country that has not killed off its unloved half and brought the pendulum of the appetites to a halt—the only society where everything is in play: guns, abortion, wealth, health and science. Anti-democrats call this open dialogue divisive and polarizing in order to eliminate it, yet it lives on. The United States has a long, proud history of defending the rights of the poor ignorant blueshirts and individuals in general against bullies wielding axes of moral brutality. No other nation has come closer to creating true democracy or fought harder to sustain it. The other modern ‘democracies’ are closed shops with entrenched power elites. Our neighbor to the south is still inventing itself while the rest of the West gloats over its flaws or cherry picks the best ideas. It is a nation truly alive, and truly the only beacon of hope as we march back toward dictatorship.
